Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Beef Striploin Steak Boneless (450g)
  • 4 heads of torn lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup nuts of your choice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Cooking:

  1. Mix olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, salt and pepper into a bowl. Remove and reserve 1/3 bowl aside. The rest should be covered and refrigerated.
  2. Cut Beef Striploin into desired thickness and add into remaining dressing mix. Marinate with the dressing in the 1/3 bowl before refrigerating it for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove beef from marinade.
  4. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Add beef and stir-fry until outside surface of beef is no longer pink.
  6. Remove beef and combine it with lettuce and remaining 2/3 dressing. Toss to coat. Add in cheese, tomatoes, and your favourite nuts and it will be ready to serve!

 

*Cooking Tips: Before cooking, remove the beef from marinade and pat dry with kitchen towel to promote consistency when cooking the steak.
